About Ben Samocha
Founder and Chairman of the Israeli Center for Blockchain and Crypto, and one of the most influential figures in the field. In 2017, Ben founded CryptoJungle, which has since become Israel’s leading media and communications platform in the blockchain and crypto space. With a degree in Economics and Management from Ben-Gurion University, hundreds of appearances in both local and international media, and leadership of the “Crypto Talks” community—now with over 70,000 members—Ben is widely regarded as one of the most influential voices in Israel’s crypto industry. Over the course of his career, Ben has worked with major global companies such as Binance and Solana, co-founded the international crypto media outlet Chainwire, advised dozens of startups, and produced large-scale events such as TheMarker’s “New Money” Conference in 2023 and the Blockchain Expert Conference. In addition, he is a founding member of the Blockchain B7 nonprofit and the Crypto Aid Israel campaign, which raised over 1.5 million shekels to support victims of the October 7 attacks. As of 2024, he leads the Blockchain and Digital Currency College, training the next generation of professionals in the industry.
